We understand that our users may be in distress, and we welcome open, honest conversations. However, to protect the safety and dignity of everyone involved — including peer support volunteers, group members, and professional facilitators — certain behaviors are strictly prohibited. By using this website, you agree to: – Engage respectfully: Speak with kindness, listen without judgment, and avoid aggressive, accusatory, or inflammatory language. – Stay appropriate and lawful: You may discuss any topic of personal relevance during your appointment, but your comments must not be abusive, harassing, or discriminatory in any form. The following behaviors are considered Prohibited Behaviours and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. If you engage in any of the following, Pragmana Foundation reserves the right to terminate your session and account, and where necessary, report to appropriate authorities:
1. Sexually Explicit Content
Sharing pornographic or erotic material, including images, descriptions, or suggestive icons, is strictly prohibited.
We have zero tolerance for any form of child sexual abuse material. Any attempt to share or discuss such content will result in immediate account termination and reporting to legal authorities.
2. Violence, Harassment, and Bullying
Threatening, intimidating, or verbally abusing a peer volunteer, counsellor, or other user is not permitted.
This includes making statements that glorify or promote violence, bullying, or suicide.
3. Hate Speech and Discrimination
Promoting bigotry, prejudice, or hate on the basis of race, religion, caste, disability, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or other identity is prohibited.
Everyone deserves a safe space, regardless of their background.
4. Insensitivity to Tragic or Sensitive Events
Avoid making comments that exploit or trivialize distressing events such as death, conflict, natural disasters, or personal loss.
This includes sarcasm, jokes, or insensitive comparisons involving such events.
5. Unlawful or Misleading Activity
Do not use the website for any illegal or inappropriate purpose, such as impersonation, defamation, stalking, or any form of sexual exploitation.
Marketing, solicitation, or using the website for dating purposes is not allowed.
Users must not impersonate another person or create a false identity.
Additional Guidelines
Sessions are meant for meaningful dialogue and emotional support. If you are non-participative, absent, or disruptive, the peer support Volunteer or facilitator may end the call at their discretion. Privacy and safety are paramount — never share other users’ stories or personal information. Pragmana Foundation is not liable for emotional distress or discomfort that may arise during honest, peer-led conversations. By participating, users accept these conditions and waive any claims of injury or offense.
